Entrepreneurship Is a Test of Faith
There is something people don't often tell you about becoming an entrepreneur.
Most days don't feel exciting.
They feel quiet.
You spend hours creating content that only a handful of people see. You update your website. You attend networking events. You send emails. You make phone calls. You introduce yourself over and over again, hoping someone remembers your name when the right opportunity comes along.
Some days it feels like you're talking into the wind.
But then I remind myself...
Being a light to others is just as important as my own success
Every conversation is connecting.
Every social media post is a way to reach someone who has had a bad day.
Every workshop, presentation, networking event, and client meeting is another opportunity to be light.
As entrepreneurs, we have to believe in the work long before we see the results.
For me, that also means trusting God with the timing.
I can control my effort.
I can continue learning, improving, serving others, and showing up every day.
What I cannot control is exactly when the harvest comes.
That requires faith.
There are moments when doubt whispers that you're wasting your time.
Those are the moments when belief matters most.
Success rarely happens because someone posted one perfect video or attended one networking event.
It happens because they kept showing up after everyone else quit.
So today, if you're building something that hasn't taken off yet, keep being the light to others.
Keep serving.
Keep learning.
Keep believing.
Your next opportunity may already be growing beneath the surface—you just can't see it yet.
Faith doesn't remove the work.
It gives you the courage to keep doing it.
And sometimes, that's exactly what entrepreneurship requires.
